Environmental Policy
As Seyidoğlu Otomotiv, we are committed to identifying the impacts and risks of our activities on the environment and climate change, taking measures to mitigate these effects, reducing our environmental footprint with a sense of responsibility, protecting natural resources, and adhering to the 1.5-degree target. Our climate change adaptation and environmental policy are based on the following fundamental principles:
- Conducting our operations in accordance with all environmental legislation and fully complying with all local, national, and international legal regulations regarding the environment.
- Evaluating current energy sources for efficient use, determining measures to ensure energy efficiency, and initiating the necessary work to transition our fossil-fuel-based energy consumption to renewable energy.
- Measuring our Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon footprint and launching reduction activities to align with our country’s 2053 net-zero carbon target.
- Measuring and reporting our water footprint, and setting and implementing targets to reduce water usage and promote reuse.
- Optimizing resource utilization through efficiency projects and innovative technologies within our business processes.
- Classifying and identifying our waste. Establishing waste management policies and targets to minimize waste, encouraging recycling and recovery activities, and ensuring the safe disposal of waste while taking necessary improvements and precautions.
- Educating and raising awareness among our employees regarding sustainability, climate risks, environmental issues, necessary precautions, and corporate/individual responsibilities. Organizing continuous training and communication programs to increase environmental consciousness.
- Setting goals for the continuous review, monitoring, and improvement of our environmental performance, following best practices in sustainability, and constantly researching new solutions.
This environmental policy serves as a guide for Seyidoğlu Otomotiv to minimize our environmental impact and achieve our sustainability goals. With the support of all our employees and stakeholders, we will continuously improve our environmental performance.
