GENERAL CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE
PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

As SEYİDOĞLU OTOMOTİV TAMİR BAKIM İŞLETMECİLİĞİ MÜŞAVİRLİK HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Seyidoğlu” or the “Company”), we show maximum sensitivity to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we attach great importance to the processing and preservation of personal data belonging to real persons with whom we interact, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law” or “KVKK”), secondary regulations (regulations, communiqués, etc.) put into effect based on the Law, and binding decisions taken by the Personal Data Protection Board.

With full awareness of this responsibility, in our capacity as "Data Controller" as defined in the Law, we process your personal data by providing all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to prevent unlawful processing of personal data, prevent unlawful access to personal data, and ensure the preservation of personal data, within the limits prescribed by the legislation as explained below.

With this clarification text, Seyidoğlu aims to announce the personal data belonging to the relevant persons it comes into contact with while performing its main field of activity on its website for the purpose of full compliance with the principle of transparency, and this text provides a clarification notice within the scope of personal data processing activities in the processes of the Company's main activity and subject of business.
 

1. Information Regarding the Data Controller

SEYİDOĞLU OTOMOTİV TAMİR BAKIM İŞLETMECİLİĞİ MÜŞAVİRLİK HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, located at “Mithatpaşa Mah. Gökşin Sok. No:13 Eyüpsultan/İstanbul” with Tax Identification Number 7671223266, is the Data Controller.

Seyidoğlu provides import, export, and logistics services for products belonging to the world's leading spare parts manufacturers and is an institution that meets the expectations of its customers with its professional staff.

Serpar Oto Servis Hizmetleri A.Ş. and SYD Online Otomotiv Parça Satış ve Pazarlama Ticaret Sanayi A.Ş. (OnlineParça) are legal entities acting as group companies of Seyidoğlu, and there may be redirects to the websites of these mentioned group companies within the scope of product and service promotion in website activities.
 

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by the Company for the following purposes:

• Carrying out the necessary work by the Company's business units to ensure that the commercial activities carried out by the Company are performed in accordance with the legislation and Company policies, and carrying out activities in this direction,
• Determining, planning, and implementing the Company's commercial policies in the short, medium, and long term,
• Managing customer relations, corporate communication, and information security processes,
• Ensuring the commercial and legal security of real and legal persons with whom the Company has a business relationship,
• Carrying out goods/service sales processes and post-sales support services,
• Determining marketing analysis and product and service marketing studies,
• Carrying out business and business continuity activities,
• Carrying out goods and service production & operations processes,
• Managing risk management and security of data controller operations,

Within the limits specified in the Law, data is processed in accordance with the law and rules of honesty, and always in a connected, limited, and measured manner for these purposes.
 

3. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by the Company through information provided directly by you verbally, in writing, or electronically, via the website and similar applications and software used within the scope of Company activities; through fully or partially automated means or non-automated means provided that they are part of any data recording system.

In this context, the categorized general personal data below are processed based on the legal reasons listed in Article 5/2 of the Law.

4. Transfer of Personal Data and Purpose of Transfer

Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties by applying all necessary technical and administrative measures for data security, based on the legal grounds of explicit consent (Art. 8/1) or without consent (Art. 8/2/a) if it's explicitly stipulated in laws or necessary for legal obligations/rights/legitimate interests:

• Legally authorized public institutions and organizations, judicial and administrative authorities,
• Private law legal entities and real persons permitted by other legislation,
• Private and public institutions authorized to audit the Company,
• Contracted payment institutions for fulfilling financial obligations,
• Business partners and suppliers for the execution and development of Company activities,
• Company affiliates/partners/shareholders and group companies for coordination of management.

5. Rights of Data Subjects under the Law

Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to: a) learn whether data is processed, b) request information if processed, c) learn the purpose of processing, ç) know third parties to whom data is transferred, d) request correction if incomplete/wrong, e) request deletion/destruction under Art. 7, f) request notification of these actions to third parties, g) object to analysis via automated systems, ğ) claim compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
